Twin Hustle
As If one job was not enough life threw a stone into your face. Do you have what it takes to be a real man and manage two jobs at the same time?
You are Vladimir, a regular engeneer from Alaska who is living paycheck to paycheck. A very sudden temperature drop left all of your small town to deal with snow and cold.
This same morning you recieve a call from your boss that from now and for the near future all work will be remote. What a time to relax and get into Christmas spirit, right? Life can't be that easy, can it?
You haven't recieved any pay for the last two month and it doesn't seem that it will change any time soon so you have to work two jobs at the same time and hopefully not fail at any of them!
CONTROLLS:
WASD - move
E - interact with table, map and exits
Tab - answer a call
Space - use shovel

Did a few runs of this. Not bad as a minigame goes, decent premise, fair execution of the idea. A few jokes, and a bit of challenge.
Some more in-depth observations:
The clock misleads you early on until you realize that it’s ticking 5 minutes every second, then it’s actually rather frightening.
It’s a nice music pick.
The game doesn’t tell you that you have to click the pins on the map to leave the house, and on my first run that meant I wasted the first day.
Also, some calls don’t lead to jobs and just have fake (un-selectable) pins. It’s a neat wrinkle, but also a first time trap. I’m not sure how it works though. At first I thought it was specifically calls that weren’t actually asking about snowing shovelling, but on the third run it changed up and now I wonder if it’s random? By fourth run, I’m thinking it may be certain houses?
On the second attempt I had a call just as I finished the papers, and it wouldn’t let me exit the paper minigame. It happened again on the third attempt, but it was just in the middle of me stamping.
Fourth Attempt I got fired because I didn’t have enough time to finish the papers. I’m not sure how that led to a bad ending when he wasn’t getting paid anyway . . .
Not sure how to feel about it overall, you are successfully portraying a tedious and unfair situation, but I’m not sure if I can actually say I’m having fun with it.
Thank you for your feedback.
There are many bugs in the game that we unfortunately haven't had time to fix (broken pins and stamps).
But I'm glad that you spent so much time playing our game despite the bugs
BTW The pins show specific houses, so the layout depends on the order received.
